Canon Character Information
Appearance: Mary Winchester stands at 5'7, putting her just a little taller than the average American woman. Her eyes are a striking blue, something that truly compliments her short, curly, blonde hair. Her body is toned and clearly used to a hunting lifestyle. At any time, one could find at least two knives and a gun on her, anything to keep her and her kids safe.
Her clothing choices could fall a bit flat as far as fashion is considered though. She's rather fond of the hunter and Sam usual of plaid with jeans and a shirt, while working on jobs for the British Men of Letters though she can usually be found in black tactical gear. Her body is riddled with various scars from hunting when she was younger, most aren't visible to the naked eye though and would have to be searched for.
From her time in Amat, she did acquire an anti-possession tattoo, via John Winchester. Before this point, there were no tattoos, ony scars. It's located over her heart, and only visible if she's wearing a low cut shirt.
As noted by Arthur Ketch, her partner, when she's talking to her boys she visibly softens. From her voice to her physical appearance, subconsciously wanting them to now her as the mom that Dean remembers. When hunting, she hardens so as to not show weakness to the enemy. As much as she denies his accusations, she knows it's true.
In flashbacks, when she was trying to play a housewife, she's shown to like flowy cottony dresses, something she equates with normality and a simple home life away from hunting and death. She hasn't wore them in any recent episodes, but if she starts trying to go back to normal in game, they may make an appearance once again.

AU/CR AU Addendum:
Mary came to Amat during the pilot episode before her death and met her grown sons. It was a hard thing for her to not have her kids be babies like she's used to, but she slowly go used to it, particularly when she had a talk with Dean and he explained in detail why she had to sleep around and how it would hurt him and Sam if she died again. To keep her company and give her something to care for, Mary had gotten herself a dog named Mistletoe and moved to an apartment..mostly because it was weird having her kids see her partners and her see theirs. For a while after that, she had Boyd Crowder move in to her apartment, both for the company and to help pay the rent. They lived happily for a few months, him opening her eyes to so much sexual experimentation.
They were happy until her husband John arrived. When he did, John was understandably upset with her for sleeping with someone else, particularly when he saw Boyd as just a white supremacist.
Her and John had split for a few weeks after his arrival, both of them needing to adjust to married life and the stress of trying to be monogamous on the island.
Once her and John rekindled their marriage, they moved to a house, hoping the move would help their marriage without the reminders of the apartment. It did help, but what helped more was the birth of their grandchildren from Dean and Annie. Having children to care for was something that fixed a lot of their marriage problems and gave them something to fight for and more of a reason to stay.
Their time there was very slice of life and continued for three to four years with very few major events in their lives.
Personality:
Overall, Mary is a very caring individual that enjoys being around people, especially if they’re family or friends.
Raised as a hunter, she’ll do what it takes to keep people safe, even attempting to take on a demon unarmed, as shown in the pilot episode where the yellow eyed demon was standing over Sam’s crib. Knowing the danger her son was in, she charged in, knowing it was all in vain. She simply couldn’t feel right about herself if she let an innocent get hurt without doing anything to try to stop it, especially if she knows and loves the individual.
There’s not many things that can make her angry, save for insulting or hurting someone dear to her. Heavens help you if you physically hurt her loved ones though, when that happens, not even God himself would be able to save you from her wrath. It’s been shown she can have a fiery temper under certain circumstances, namely when she feels cornered or threatened. Particularly if someone she cares for is being stalked by something that may be able to hurt them. Given that situation, she'll attack first and ask questions later.
The things that mean the most to her are what everyone would expect. Being a family woman and mother, she cares more for her children and family than anything else, their safety always on the forefront on her mind. She’s also great with children, something that she seems to have passed along to Dean.
Considering that she knows what's out in the dark though, she has a great ability to hold herself back from worrying over certain things that most hunters would never allow. Such as not salting windows in her home and not taking any precautions against demons and monsters save for a normal alarm system.
The worst thing she can imagine is for someone to be forced into the hunting lifestyle, such as she was. she never wanted this life for her children, wanting them to be safe and able to live normal lives and have the worries of an average person, not worrying if tonight would be the night that something got the better of them.
Powers/Abilities/Talents: Mary has been shown to have the general skills possessed by hunters. She was a very good observer, and immediately recognized when she and John were being followed by Dean. She has shown capabilities in hand-to-hand combat, even holding her own temporarily against an angel. She also appeared to be a fast learner, being able to create angel banishing sigils and setting them up on the same day she learned about the existence of angels and their weaknesses. When asked by Dean about her being good at hunting, she tells him that she is "very good" at it but didn't enjoy it. After her resurrection, Mary is shown to be a skilled fighter and extremely good at noticing little clues such as the fact that Lucas Kellinger, while leaving a frostbite handprint on her arm similar to other victims of a malevolent spirit, meant her no harm and was instead scared and trying to warn her.

Third Person:
Mary was walking silently along a hallway, her eyes taking in everything as she moved. There were so many questions she had, but the biggest was wondering exactly where she was. Crossing her arms over her chest, she shivered as a the chill started getting to her. She showed up in her hunting clothes, but left her jacket. Her senses were on hyper alert, her brain automatically switching to that of a hunter as she hunted for her children.
Closing her eyes briefly, she wasn't sure where to go first. She needed information and in a mansion like this, she wasn't sure where to get it. If she'd been outside, she would have done the hunter usual and went to a bar...here though, her options were severely limited. Passing the doors for the library, she peeked in...maybe there would be some useful information inside. Rubbing her arms, she froze as she heard whispering.
Grabbing a random book off a shelf, she slipped quietly to a table near the other party. She couldn't just ask them what they knew right off the bat, it would make them suspicious. What she could do though was listen and hope someone slipped up, when they did, she would ask them the questions she had and then she would find her sons.
Finally, out of the 4 words, pick one: Chimes, lake, gravel, or sun? Lake
